BZI® (bzi.com) announced today that its affiliate company, BZI Innovation Park, LLC will present the company’s positive impact on the economy and local communities and opportunities for businesses in Southern Utah at the popular economic event, What’s Up Down South, on January 15, 2026, at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, Utah.

The industry park and transportation hub’s Drake Howell and VISCO, LLC’s Ryan Obray will be joined on a breakout panel with leading area government and business leaders, as well as the industry park customers, and the Utah Inland Port Authority. The group will share their perspectives, experiences and updates on how the BZI Innovation Park is bringing new opportunities for multi-national, regional and local businesses through its differentiated products, services, and rail and shipping networks. Park executives will also share recent developments, progress and new offerings since the organization held its groundbreaking in 2023, and discuss future plans and economic significance to regional communities, such as more than 1,000 high-quality jobs and $120 million in tax revenue, among other benefits to the region.

“The BZI Innovation Park and our community partners and business leaders look forward to sharing the significant ways our unique industry park and transportation hub can help local businesses enhance ways of conducting business, extend their ability to reach new markets and customers, and integrate the offerings into their strategic planning and company growth,” said Drake Howell, BZI Innovation Park, Project Executive.

According to the What’s Up Down South website, the annual event is designed to provide business and community leaders with the latest economic insights for planning in the year ahead. The summit includes keynote speakers, skill-based workshops and networking opportunities. With its focus on regional economic trends and strategic business planning, the summit plays a central role in shaping the economic landscape of Southern Utah.

The BZI Innovation Park, an affiliate company of BZI, is an important component of the Iron Springs Project Area of the Utah Inland Port Authority. Since its groundbreaking ceremony, BZI’s innovative vision for the industrial park has been applauded by customers, partners and the industry. The park has received state and global awards of excellence from the One-Utah Summit and Inc.’s Best in Business.

The BZI Innovation Park held its grand opening in the summer of 2025 and currently has five business entities operating within the park: VISCO, RailSync, LLC, Iron Depot™, InnovaCast, LLC and Totten Tubes, Inc., with more announcements expected in the near future.

The industrial park brings decades of combined experience across diverse areas of construction and real estate development to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and ensure each tenant who builds with the company has a value-driven experience.

Unparalleled and sustainable offerings provided by the park will improve the processing of goods and products for national and global companies, and will provide the surrounding region with increased access to an outstanding worldwide shipping network.

The park is central to many large population cities that will improve the ability of tenants to reach more customers and accelerate business development and growth. The BZI Innovation Park is advantageously located only a day’s drive from population centers like LA, Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City, providing access to a potential market of more than 48 million people.

RailSync™, located within the park, has delivered more than 800 railcars since it began operations in 2023; 469 rail cars were delivered and 42,390 tons of materials were handled in 2025. The transport service performance has removed more than 3,200 inbound semi-truck loads from highways between Salt Lake City and Phoenix over the past two years. By shifting freight from road to rail, the company is reducing congestion, cutting emissions and increasing efficiency for industries across the Mountain West.

VISCO, a BZI affiliated general contractor, will be available to tenants for build-to-suit contracting services, among others.
